While providing very good value for the money, we would only recommend these options if your travel dates are flexible over the span of several months and if you won't be needing the accomodations during peak travel months for your destination. As you have to wait several days for a certificate to arrive via FedEx before even selecting your accomodation and dates (and availability cannot be guaranteed) , this option is also not suitable for last-minute travel. Be sure to fully understand all of the restrictions, taxes and fees before placing your non-retractable bid!

We've done some checking online and have found surprisingly almost no complaints for either of these sites. The resorts that you can choose from are frequently compared to those offered to timeshare owners of an RCI property, for a vastly cheaper price though.. Availability appears to open up later in the evenings as well as closer to your date of travel. Some users have commented that it pays to get "obsessive" with checking availability to reserve your stay at the best of these properties. Be quick though, as availabilities don't tend to last long. This makes the option not a good plan if you're close to your departure date. If you've got some flexibility with your plans though, you stand to save alot of money on what you would otherwise have to buy as a timeshare.
Don't be afraid of purchasing a discount stay at a timeshare property! We did it at a beachfront property in Hollywood, FL, and only saw the management when we went in the office with a request! You've paid for your stay, and even though your price may be significantly lower than that paid by timeshare owners, you are not there on a sales pitch! In fact, when chatting with other timeshare users at our beachfront condo, they were amazed at what we paid, and quickly jotted down SkyAuction.com's web address!
