Red Envelope Sales Tax Policy:
- All orders sent to addresses outside of California, New York and Ohio are not charged sales tax.
- Orders shipping to California are charged sales tax of 7.25% (7.75% in San Diego county and 8.5% in San Francisco County).
- Orders shipping to New York are charged a sales tax of 8%.
- Orders shipping to Ohio are charged a 6.25% sales tax.
Where Red Envelope Delivers:
Red Envelope is currently unable to ship its orders to Post Office Box addresses, outside of the United States, or to APO/FPO addresses. Red Envelope can, however, accept international payments for orders shipping to the United States.
How Red Envelope Delivers:
- Ground Service costs $9.99 with your package arriving in between 5 and 7 business days (excluding holidays).
- 2 Day Shipping costs $16.99 and has your package delivered within 2 business days from the date of order when your order is placed before 9am ET, Monday through Friday (holidays excluded).
- Next Business Day delivery costs $26.99 and gets your order delivered the next business day if your order is placed before 9:00am ET Monday through Friday (holidays excluded).
- By The Month Clubs:
* Flowers - you will be charged a one-time delivery fee of $26.99, followed by a monthly shipping & handling fee of $9.
* Orchids & Plants - you will be charged a one-time delivery fee of $16.99, followed by a monthly shipping & handling charge of $6. - redENVELOPE Gift Certificates are always shipped via USPS First Class Mail. "Shop now, ship later" service is not available for gift certificates.
* Add one business day (due to order processing) to the delivery time for flowers, plants and perishable gifts.
