If you or another member of your household has been a Netflix member within the past 12 months, you are not eligible to participate in the 2 week free trial. You can cancel your membership at any time, but will not be refunded for any unviewed films or partial months. Upon cancelling your membership, you will be given 7 days to return any rented materials. If your rentals are not received within 7 days after cancellation, your payment method will be charged for the missing items. Also, your Netflix membership will automatically be charged to your account if you DO NOT cancel your membership BEFORE the end of your free trial.
- Starz Play is offered with all unlimited plans from Netflix and has its own individual plan available (that is limited to ONLY content streamed from Starz Play) for a charge of $7.99 monthly as of February, 2010. There is no free trial available for a Starz Play membership.

Where Netflix.com Delivers:
Netflix.com only ships DVDs to and allows "Instant Watching" streamed videos to be viewed in the 50 United States and the District of Columbia. Netflix's service area DOES NOT include US Territories.
How Netflix.com Delivers:
Netflix ships its DVDs through the USPS and allows a limited selection of movies to be streamed or instantly watched on several devices including PCs, PS3 consoles or through televisions with Netflix ready devices. Netflix operates around 100 distribution centers. Because of this fact, Netflix states that over 97% of its members will receive their DVDs within 1 business day of the DVD being processed. You can receive films for viewing from Netflix in one of two ways: through the mail or instantly streamed to a Netflix-ready device.
- USPS is used to send DVDs and Blu-Ray Discs through the mail. Shipping is ALWAYS free for your DVDs, both when receiving them and returning them. You will be sent a pre-paid mailer with every DVD you receive. Use this mailer to get the free return shipping of your DVD to Netflix. Netflix will send you an email whenever they receive a returned DVD from you as well as when they ship another DVD from your list. Netflix aims to ship out the next DVD on your queue the same day that they receive your returned DVD. If a DVD is not available at your local distribution center or the distribution center has already reached its daily limit for order processing before handling your DVD return, your order may be shipped out to you on the following business day. Netflix processes orders Monday through Saturday except for on public holidays. Depending on the Netflix plan you are on, you are allowed to have a specified number of DVDs out at a time. You can keep these DVDs as long you like, but you will not be sent more films from your queue or list of requests until you return a film. All DVDs must be received within 7 days of cancelling your Netflix service or you will be charged for the missing items. All films may not be available at your local distribution center: this may increase the delivery time for you to receive your film. Whenever you place a film in your queue for delivery, you will be informed on the length of wait to expect for your film: now, short wait, long wait or very long wait. Due to availability and other factors, the next DVD you receive after returning one to Netflix will not necessarily be the next DVD in your queue.
- Watch Instantly is available to all orders shipping to the United States for no additional cost. System requirements for "Watch Instantly": You must have an active broadband connection to the internet to make use of this Netflix service. Windows PCs must be running XP w/ Service Pack 2, Vista or Windows 7 as an operating system, use the IE 6.0 or Firefox 2 as a browser (higher versions than these will also work), have a processor speed of 1.2 GHz and 512 MB of available RAM. Macs must be running OS 10.4.8 or later, use either Safari 3 or Firefox 2 (or higher) as a browser and have 1GB of available RAM. "Netflix Streaming Discs" are optical media discs to be inserted into the disc drives of Netflix-ready devices, enabling them to instantly stream movies from Netflix and properly display them. Netflix ready devices can include the following items:
