We've looked around Macys.com and found an explanation as to what all of the pricing terms you find on macys.com sales items mean. You can be sure not to miss out on the best deals when you know which products have been permanently reduced and which ones are temporarily reduced.
"Original", "Closeout", "Clearance", "Permanent Markdown" and "Just Reduced" - items whose prices have been permanently marked down and WILL NOT return to the original price
"Regular Price" and "Our Price" - the price WILL return to the "Regular" or "Our Price" price after the sales event or promo code has expired.
"Lowest Prices of the Season" - items whose price may be reduced further during the season for clearance
"Clearance", "Closeout" and "Special Purchase" - offer is limited to the stock on hand

Where Macy's Delivers:
Currently, macys.com can only ship items to: the United States, APOs, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Marshall Islands, Palau, the US Virgin Islands and Guam. Also, certain products such as Coach or Chanel cannot be shipped to US Territories or military addresses (APO/FPO) - these restrictions are clearly marked with the products.
How Macy's Delivers:
Standard Shipping arrives in 1-6 business days and costs between $5.95 and $24.95.
Premium Shipping ranges in price between $15.95 and $34.95.
Express Shipping will cost you between $25.95 to $44.95.
Delivery is used for mattresses and furniture. Fees for mattress purchases under $699 or outside regular delivery areas will incur a minimum fee of $70. Furniture delivery ranges from $80 to $165 depending on the number of pieces, with additional fees for delivery outside of normal areas.

* Mattress purchases of $699 or more receive free delivery.
* A charge of $6 is applied to each additional shipping address within an order.
* Macys gift cards always ship for $1.95, unless personalized (in which case they ship for $5).

Macy's Return Policy
Didn't it fit? Is the color not what you expected? It just doesn't look right? No problems. Macy's has a liberal return policy. To return macys.com merchandise to a store: bring the merchandise, invoice (including UPC code), and packaging to any sales associate at any Macy's store. They will give a credit to the "original tender" (your credit card you purchased the order on - bring that with you as well). If you'd like to return your macys.com purchase by mail: complete the return form on the invoice (indicating what you're returning and why) then package and mail your item(s) to macys.com using the enclosed shipping label (use either UPS or the USPS and don't forget to insure your package). Your return will be processed within 7 days of receipt and you will receive an email stating this fact. The return may take longer than 7 days to appear on your statement however. If you'd like to exchange an item by mail, follow the process for making a return by mail, except that you will additionally fill out the enclosed exchange form.
* When returning your order with the pre-printed return label, a charge of $6.95 will be deducted from your refund. If you are making an exchange, your new item will ship for free.
If a bonus gift was included with the purchase you are returning, remember to add that to your return or you will be charged for the full purchase!
Gift returns are credited in the form of store credit.
Gift card purchases will be re-issued as new gift cards.
Purchases from Macy's retail locations cannot be returned by mail.
Jewelry purchased through macys.com must be returned by mail, it cannot be taken to a retail location for return.
Custom-sized rings are not returnable.
Bridesmaid Dresses may not be worn before being returned. They can be returned to either a Macy's store or by mail to one of 2 addresses provided by Customer Service.
Mattresses will receive a one-time credit (minus fees) towards a new mattress of equal or greater value that must be selected within 14 days. Delivery fees on mattresses will not be refunded, a redelivery fee of $50 will be charged for your new mattress and a handling fee will be applied.
Furniture returns must be made within 3 days of delivery and will not have delivery fees refunded. Additionally, a restocking fee of 10% will be charged to you. If the problem with your furniture is damage that occured during shipping, Macy's will send a technician to your home to repair the furniture, free of charge.
Area Rugs may not be returned at Macy's stores. Phone customer service to arrange for a pick-up of your rug.
