K'Nex Sales Tax Policy
- K'Nex charges a 6% sales tax on orders shipping both to and from Pennsylvania only.
Where K'Nex Delivers:
K'Nex cannot accept orders from outside of the United States and Canada. Orders shipping to both Canada and U.S. Post Office Boxes may be delayed in shipment and do not have guarantees on the estimated delivery dates. All transactions are conducted in US funds.
How K'Nex Delivers:
All K'Nex orders ship from the K'Nex location in Hatfield, Pennsylvania. K'Nex bases its shipping charges on the delivery location and the total weight of the order. Receive free shipping on orders with merchandise totalling $75 or more if you are a member of "Parent Savings" or "Educator's Savings". You can join "Parent Savings" during the checkout process for your online order and have your free shipping applied at the time. "Parent Savings" is free to join: the only requirement is that you sign up to receive emails with special savings from K'Nex. The shipping charges for your order are shown during the checkout process. Free shipping applies to standard delivery: if you choose expedited or rush delivery and qualify for free shipping, you will receive a discount on your shipping charges. K'Nex asks that a responsible adult over the age of 18 place all online orders using a valid credit card.
- Regular Shipping orders arrive within 5 to 10 business days.
- Expedited (3rd Business Day) Delivery orders arrive within 3 business days of the order shipping.
- Rush Expedited (2nd Business Day) orders arrive within 2 business days of the order shipping.
- Paper K'Nex Gift Certificates are sent via regular mail. K'Nex Paper Gift Certificates ship for free.
- Online K'Nex Gift Certificates are send via email to the recipient on the same day you order them. These also incur no shipping charge.
* K'Nex shipments delivered to Canadian Addresses may be subject to taxes, import charges and duties. These are not included in the order total paid to K'Nex and are the recipient's responsibility upon delivery of the order.
* Alaskan and Hawaiian orders from K'Nex ship via US Mail unless expedited shipping is chosen.
* Orders including sets commonly are sent with UPS.
* K'Nex Free shipping codes apply only to standard shipping. You will receive a discounted rate when using a free shipping code and selecting either Rush or expedited delivery.
* The K'Nex Custom Designed Building Set does not arrive within the estimated delivery times for standard, rush or expedited delivery. Be sure to allow extra time for delivery of this item.
* Orders shipping to Canada, PO Boxes, APO addresses and AE addresses do not have expedited shipping guaranteed.

The K'Nex Return Policy
K'Nex explicitly states on their website that they cannot be held responsible for orders placed by those under 18 years of age. Orders placed by people under the age of 18 are the responsibility of the parent or guardian in possession of the valid credit card used in the purchasing transaction.
* Original shipping charges for your returned item are not refundable. K'Nex WILL refund the original shipping charges on your returned item if the reason for your return is either damaged merchandise or an error on K'Nex's part.
- K'Nex only accepts returned merchandise if the merchandise has an RMA (Returned Merchandise Authorization
- Get an RMA by phoning (+US) 1-800-KID-KNEX.
- Merchandise must be returned to K'Nex within 30 days of the date of purchase.
- The customer is resposible for postage on the merchandise to be returned.
- Items returned to K'Nex for a refund must be returned in original packaging in an unused and resellable condition.
- Credits for returned merchandise will be issued minus the original shipping & handling charges.
