• Fannie May Chocolates charges sales tax only on orders shipping TO the following states: Illinois (1%), Indiana (7%), New York (8.63%) and Wisconsin (5%).

Where Fannie May Chocolates Deliver:

Fannie May Chocolates accepts online orders only for deliveries within the United States. Perishable items may not be sent to Post Office Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. Fannie May DOES make international deliveries however: make arrangements to send chocolates overseas by phoning their Mail Order Sales Center at (US)1-800-333-3629. Note that Fannie May does not ship chocolates internationally during the summer time frame between April 26 and September 24 in accordance with its Summer Shipping Policy.

Deliveries to certain parts of the country require 2nd Day Air due to the warm weather. Fannie May will package these orders in insulated containers with a dry ice free of charge. During the time frame between April 26 through September 24, Fannie May also ships out its product only on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesday (to avoid product spoilage in a transit warehouse over the weekend). Post Office Box deliveries to certain parts of the country (Arizona, California, Florida, New Mexico and Texas) are not allowed from March 15 through October 22. During this same time frame, deliveries to physical addresses in Arizona, California, New Mexico and Texas require expedited delivery.

• March 15 through October 22, deliveries to certain states: require expedited delivery, are packaged in a styrofoam container packaged with dry ice, have post office box address deliveries prohibited and ship out only on Mondays through Wednesdays. These states are as follows:

• April 26 through September 24 has an even further group of states with deliveries prohibited to post office box addresses and complimentary packaging of orders in insulated boxes. Expedited delivery IS NOT required for the following states however: Alabama, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Delaware, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Wisconsin and West Virginia.
