How Dell.com Delivers:
Dell assesses its shipping charges based on both the destination of the order and the products being ordered.Dell.com orders are built specifically to order. Dell systems typically take between 3 to 6 days to build, however, this timeframe may vary with the availability of various components. Once your system has been built, Dell.com will send you an email with an estimated ship date. Add the number of days in your chosen delivery date to arrive at your estimated final delivery date.
- 3-5 Day Ground Delivery is available for orders shipping to the Continental US only. The charge for shipping notebooks via this method starts at $25, desktop delivery via this method starts at $35.
- 2nd Business Day Delivery starts at $39 for delivery of notebook computers and $59 for desktop pc delivery.
- Next Business Day Delivery offers delivery on the business day after your order is built. The charge for this service starts at $69 for laptops and $109 for desktop pcs.

The Dell.com Return Policy
- If you return an item to Dell.com without prior authorization, that item will be considered an unauthorized return. You will not receive credit, nor can you have the item returned to you by Dell, if it is an unauthorized return!
You must contact Dell Customer Service within 21 calendar days of your invoice date to start a Return. You can return most Dell.com purchases for either a credit or a refund, less any shipping & handling charges and applicable restocking fees. To start the process, contact Dell Customer Service for a CRA (Credit Return Authorization) number within the 21 day period from the date of invoice. Your return must be shipped to Dell within 5 days of the issuance of your CRA number.
- Your item must be packaged completely, including all accesssories and manufacturer documentations, such as antennas, transformers, remote controls, batteries, software disks, etc..
- Dell.com Returns must be submitted with a valid CRA number (Credit Return Authorization).
- Your returned item must be postmarked within 5 days of the issuance of its CRA number.
Returning Defective Products
Defective, damaged or incorrect shipments from Dell may be returned without a restocking fee applied to them. Use the correct page at Dell's site to report a missing, wrong, damaged or lost item to their customer service team.
Exceptions to Dell.com's 21 Day Return Policy
Several different products may be returned within 30 days from the date of the invoice. These include the following:

- PowerConnect products
- PowerVault products
- Vostro systems
- Optiplex systems
- Latitude systems
- Precision systems
Certain other products purchased online from Dell.com may not be returned. These products include the following:
- EqualLogic products
- Dell | EMC products
- EMC products
- PowerVault ML600 tape libraries
- Non-Dell branded enterprise products
- Enterprise software
- Customized hardware or software products
