There are plenty! Is your favorite restaurant, florist or caterer not already available on delivery.com? You can refer a new merchant to delivery.com and earn a portion of the commissions that delivery.com makes on that merchant's future sales when they sucessfully register. Your commission will depend upon your level of commitment to delivery.com: bronze (20%), silver (35%) or gold (50%). Basically, the Bronze membership includes no further commitment other than doing no harm to delivery.com. A silver membership requires you to not do anything that would discourage any business from continuing their relationship with delivery.com. Finally, a gold membership requires you to not do any harm to delivery.com, nor preempt any business opportunities that become apparent to them. Your membership and application are free of charge. Earn a double-whammy when you referred both the customer and the restaurant!
You also earn "delivery points" with every online order you place through delivery.com: these can be collected and redeemed for various prizes. At the lower end of the delivery.com points program, you can redeem your points for items such as mousepads and shirts. At the higher end of the program, you can earn Delta SkyMiles, cash, iPods, GPS systems, even an Apple MacBook! As of September 2009, delivery.com will award new users 1000 delivery.com points with their first order. Yet another way to earn delivery.com points is to refer friends to delivery.com. Earn 1000 points with the first order your friend completes at delivery.com and then get 100 points for every order they complete thereafter.
(These terms are subject to change without notice and were valid according to delivery.com as of September 18, 2009. Additional terms and conditions apply: see delivery.com for full details.)
Until your order is communicated to the restaurant or merchant, it will appear in your order history as "awaiting order". As long as the order has not been conveyed to the merchant, it can be cancelled by simply clicking the relevant "cancel order" button. Any changes, special requests or cancellations that come up AFTER the order has been transmitted to the restaurant should be communicated directly to the restaurant or service provider themselves.
These offers from Delivery.com have seen better days. We thought we'd list them here though, so you can see what types of promotions and sales Delivery.com has run in the past. You never know, they might make an appearance again!
