Delivery days are Monday through Friday: Saturday deliveries is available in certain areas for an additional fee. Although a signature is not required for residential deliveries, the UPS delivery person is not required to leave the package without a signature if they do not feel comfortable doing so. Business deliveries do require a signature upon delivery, but this can be anyone's signature - not just that of the recipient. If your delivery is going to an apartment building, be sure to include the apartment number. Also, deliveries are not usually left at apartment buildings without a signature: this can be the signature of a doorman, concierge or building manager as well as a neighbor. Be sure to include in the special instructions if you would like to allow a neighbor sign for your package.
