Where Blockbuster.com Delivers:
Blockbuster.com only ships DVDs to the 50 United States and the District of Columbia. Blockbuster's service area DOES NOT include US Territories.
How Blockbuster.com Delivers:
Blockbuster ships its DVDs through the USPS. You can receive films for viewing from Blockbuster Online in one of several ways: through the mail, by exchanging your DVD at a Blockbuster retail location or streaming and / or downloading films online via Blockbuster On Demand.
- USPS is used to send DVDs and Blu-Ray Discs through the mail. Shipping is ALWAYS free for your DVDs, both when receiving them and returning them. More than 90% of Blockbuster's subscribers live in a postal zone that allows for delivery of your DVD within 1 business day. Others will most likely receive rentals within 2 business days. You will be sent a pre-paid mailer with every DVD you receive. Use this mailer to get the free return shipping of your DVD to Blockbuster: When exchanging DVDs at a retail Blockbuster location or just returning them at a Blockbuster retail store, your DVD MUST be in the return mailer or it will not be accepted! Blockbuster will send you an email whenever they receive a returned DVD from you as well as when they ship another DVD from your list. If a DVD is not available at your local distribution center or the distribution center has already reached its daily limit for order processing before handling your DVD return, your order may be shipped out to you on the following business day. Depending on the Blockbuster plan you are on, you are allowed to have a specified number of DVDs out at a time. You can keep these DVDs as long you like, but you will not be sent more films from your queue or list of requests until you return a film. All DVDs must be received within 5 days of cancelling your Blockbuster Online service or you will be charged for the missing items. All films may not be available at your local distribution center: this may increase the delivery time for you to receive your film. Due to availability and other factors, the next DVD you receive after returning one to Blockbuster will not necessarily be the next DVD in your queue.
- Exchanges at a Blockbuster retail location are available to all members of a "Blockbuster Total Access" plan at no additional cost. This option allows you to return DVDs to a Blockbuster retail location in exchange for either a free or a discount DVD rental or a discounted game rental. Your free in-store exchanges on DVDs DO count towards the DVD allowance for your particular plan and DO NOT have due dates or late fees attached to them. Once you have exhausted your allowed free in-store movie rentals for your plan, you can exchange your DVDs at retail Blockbuster locations for discounted in-store movie rentals. Discounted in-store movie rentals made after you have surpassed your allotment for free in-store DVD exchanges DO follow all retail store policies: this means that they DO have applicable due dates and late fees.
- On Demand: You must have first activate your viewing device to make use of this Blockbuster Online service. With Blockbuster Online's On Demand service, you can instantly watch films on your TV or DVD player, TiVo DVR, cell phone, PC or other portable device. You can view your selections in one of two formats: streaming or downloaded. Use of this service also requires an active internet connection. To watch Blockbuster On Demand downloaded movies, you can use the following products:
- 2wire MediaPoint Set-top boxes - must be hooked up to your TV and connected to the internet. This digital media player uses progressive playback rather than streaming. As of February 2010, you can pre-purchase the rental of 25 movies from Blockbuster On Demand for $99 and receive a MediaPoint player free of charge.
- Samsung Blu-Ray Disc players (all listed models include both Video On Demand and Music On Demand services and are WiFi ready) - Samsung BD-P1600 Blu-ray Disc Player, Samsung BD-P3600 Blu-ray Disc Player or the Samsung BD-P4600 Blu-ray Disc Player
- Samsung Home Theater Systems (all listed models include both Video On Demand and Music On Demand services and are WiFi ready) - Samsung HT-BD1250 Blu-ray Home Theater System, Samsung HT-BD3252 Blu-ray Home Theater System, Samsung HT-BD7200 blu-ray Home Theater System, Samsung HT-BD8200 Blu-ray Audio Bar

- PC - Blockbuster On Demand movies are NOT available on Apple and or Macintosh computers or devices. Windows PCs must be running XP or Vista as an operating system and use the IE 6.0 or higher browser or use Mozilla Firefox with the IE add-on tab. It is recommended that your PC has a 1.5 GHz Intel Pentium 4 Processor or higher and 512 MB of available RAM. You also must download the Blockbuster Movielink Player to rent or purchase movies or TV shows online.

- Select Motorola Phones - (COMING SOON) will be featuring an exclusive Blockbuster On Demand application in the near future.
- XBox 360 - requires a PC with MS Windows Media Player 11 or higher with media sharing turned on OR Windows XP MediaCenter edition, Windows Vista or Windows 7 using the XBox 360 as a Media Center Extender. You must also have a wired or wireless home network and your networked Xbox 360 to use your gaming console as a Blockbuster On Demand player.
You are not permitted to view streamed Blockbuster On Demand films outside of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia.
