Easter is a "Moveable Feast" and occurs between late March and late April every year, with Easter being celebrated on a Sunday (2 days after good Friday). After a lengthy disagreement, all Christian churches now accept that Easter Sunday is the first Sunday after the Paschal Full Moon (the first moon with a 14th day occuring on or after March 21). In 2011, Easter Sunday falls on April 24.
Several different activities best represent Easter. First there are Easter eggs and perhaps an Easter egg hunt. The Easter Bunny leaves Easter baskets for the kids, with eggs, chocolate eggs, chocolate bunnies, jelly beans and other sweets and gifts. Easter brunch usually centers around a ham.
